Don't worry. To play Demi to his Swayze, just find a hobby your partner enjoys and, well, "help" him do it. (Having "Unchained Melody" on your stereo wouldn't hurt either!) Squeeze in behind your honey and wrap your arms or legs around him while he's surfing the net, watching TV or doing the dishes (go ahead, get your hands sudsy!). It doesn't really matter what the activity is, as long as you successfully interrupt it.
Once you've managed to get up close and personal, mimic the megastars: Gently pull him back toward you and caress his arms, chest and shoulders, while you kiss his neck, nibble on his ear or run your fingers through his hair. Lead him somewhere private (closet, bathroom or attic, since alleys aren't exactly safe in real life) and whisper something s*xy — but don't let him remove your clothes. Kiss him tentatively at first, then as if it's the last time you'll ever see him. As he tries to prolong it, slip away and out the door — your guy will be desperate to be alone with you again, and he'll no doubt be in hot pursuit!
When a Man Loves a Woman
In the movie, Meg Ryan's character is sitting at the counter of a diner, while the man next to her is trying to pick her up. Ryan's husband, played by Andy Garcia, walks in and is intrigued seeing another man flirting with his wife. He sits down on the other side of her and acts like a sexy stranger trying to compete for her attention. (You can duplicate this with your guy at a local bar). Garcia's moves appear forward to onlookers, but Ryan plays along as he continues his sexy banter, building anticipation. Eventually he mentions something special — which could be "your song" or anything else close to you both as a couple.
Even though it sounds insubstantial to the lunching onlookers, the words "carrot cake" melt Ryan's heart — and without missing a beat, she smiles, stands up and, while sustaining eye contact, climbs right onto Garcia's lap! The entire crowd gasps with delight as she leans in and kisses him.
